“You can do everything right, but still fail”
Life takes you to uncertain places where you feel lost, not knowing what will come next. You work for days and you still end up with nothing, all your plans become useless in the end. You keep on thinking what if and what next…
These are the times when you are forced to give up on things cause you can’t cope with them anymore, it can be something you love dearly and something you’ve always wanted. You are suddenly left with nothing in your hands, all your plans seem to have gone in vain. The feeling of failing slowly creeps in, and you feel useless and saddened by the lack of progress. The nightmare haunts you day and night, and it damages the confidence in you.
The feeling of failing isn’t new to anyone, but failing in things you’ve worked hard for and dreamt for long brings much more pressure. Being lost is accompanied by fear, fear of the unknown and fear of isolation from friends, family, and the comforts of home. We feel a sense of deep confusion as to the ‘why’ of life, and the course of action that stems from clarity, not confusion, in relationship, work or play.
Everything in life comes at a price, you keep on learning and experimenting each day. Some of them become success while most fail, but what we need to consider is how bad we want the things, we like. When it comes to failing, our egos are our own worst enemies. As soon as things start going wrong, our defense mechanisms kick in, tempting us to do what we can to save face. Every start has some failiure written on it, the best you can do is challange yourself to do better everyday and learn from it.
